As a change from all beach days, we decided to do a small jungle hike. Eco Venao Lodge has a short hike we have done a couple of times. Thankfully for the most part there are shade trees. Miraflores Locks,Panama Canal

Santa Catalina

We left Pedasi late morning and drove to Santa Catalina. It took us about five hours. The road was in great shape except for the last half hour or so. It is a small rustic town and the road ends at the ocean. We stayed at Mama Ines hotel. The rooms were small but clean.Continue reading “Santa Catalina”

We had not yet been to Playa La Garita. This beach has rocky areas. The day we went it was super windy. A beautiful day to walk the beach, always being mindful of the waves.
